Streets of Rage is a series of side-scrolling beat 'em up video games. The games are known for their timeless gameplay and electronic dance influenced music. In the games, players control one of three former police officers turned vigilantes who battle a crime syndicate. The syndicate has corrupted the local government of the fictional American metropolis of Wood Oak City. Players act as Adam, Axel, or Blaze. Streets of Rage was developed and published by Sega for the Genesis in 1991.
Border (ボーダー, Bōdā ?) is an agency in Mikado City. It was created for the sake of protecting the city from Neighbor attacks. It comes from the anime series World Trigger. The series is based on the manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Daisuke Ashihara. World Trigger ended in 2016 after TV Asahi replaced its time slot with sports programming. In the series, Border has three Black Triggers. Certain Triggers are only available to Border agents who have achieved a specific rank. C-rank groups together trainees, who are not considered official agents. World Trigger is popular in Japan. Some Japanese people put the entire Rank Wars anime adapted on YouTube. In two weeks, every video got up to a million views or really close to it.
In Japanese, shinigami (死神) translates to "death god". The word is made up of two Japanese words: shi (death) and kami (god or spirit). In Japanese culture, Shinigami are kami that invite humans toward death. They have been described as monsters, creatures of darkness or helpful kami that show humans the way to the afterlife.
